Why GC? Why? Why would anyone do this?
Splitting this collection is like a crime against humanity.

Can't you just stash it? At your folks place? Or if worst comes to worst in a storage garage?

I can see remorseful, regretful tears in the future. :(

I know there will be some regrets.. but I am in a situation where I want to take my Personal Training business to the next level and $7000 is what I need to do it.

I've held onto some of these games for 16 odd years and I think after the floods, it dawned on me that had I been living somewhere else... they all could have been ruined. But with this said, they are merely possessions...

Don't get me wrong though... I will be REALLY REALLY sad to let Panzer Dragoon Saga, Dragonforce, Shining Force 2 and Shenmue and 2 go... Best fucking games ever. :)

I'm two degrees of separation from someone who lives out at Rocklea that lost an insane comic collection in the flood. Stuck at work as it happened.

I understand. I hate clutter. And a collection like this can seem like a jail with golden bars.
Might be a good idea to hang onto the 5-10 titles from the list you know you have to?
Take photos, you'll always have the memories.

Shame. $7k will come and go. Those games will be gone forever.

Something I experienced recently was a MAJOR declutter of my personal possessions... furniture and clothes.. I own a 46 inch rear projector TV which has dictated where I live since 2002. When I went overseas and got rid of a lot of clothes and stuff.. it felt liberating. Not as much anchoring me to a particular spot. I feel like my time with these games has come to an end. Sure I will miss the esteem of owning some very rare games... but ultimately, the megadrive ones I already have as roms on my phone to play through and the cd based games I can burn.

I'll live.. but may need a support network hehe :)

Wouldn't mind knowing how much you want for everything bar the Dreamcast games, and are you also parting ways with the hardware?

Well as things have progressed and as I have had the whole thing evaluated.. If I was to sell it all including the extra hardware stuff I have... MINUS the DC stuff... I should really be asking for $8000.

HArdware Wise i have

A mega cd 1
Mega cd 2
A few MDs
A Version 1 Sega Master System
Modded Sega Saturn
Heaps of Controllers for MD and Saturn
2 Saturn Multi taps
1 Sega Megadrive Juke Box (6 cart slot game changer)

Oh and a 32x.. but whatever

I have already sold Guardian Heroes and Shining Force 3 auction ends tonight...

Given that I have had it properly evaluated, the 8k is actually a VERY decent amount for everything except the DC games...

Since the collection has now been split... new prices are on the table. I'm not in any mad hurry to sell it all..so if it means I just have to put it on Ebay in dribs and drabs.. so be it.

Skies of Arcadia is PAL and in excellent condition. Instructions are in mint condition and both discs appear to be in mint condition as well.

$60 seems to be the buy it now price on eBay it seems but will do it for $55 plus postage. If you live in Brisbane you can do a local pick up if you want.

Bought Warcraft but never played it so couldn't tell you :)

The copy of night trap is PAL. As is the night trap 32x version. Same with double switch.. Fucking LOVED Night Trap and Double Switch.

For the mega cd 1 and mega drive 1... 70 bucks. Could get more but meh... I think I bought it for like $150 back 2000...

The Saturn was bought and shipped from London in 1998... The mod has a 50/60hz switch and a UK/US/JAP country changer. To play burns, the cd door has been modded to allow for the swap trick to be done... So no need for any sort of chip to play burns.

Hey mate, i'm keen for the mega cd 1 and mega cd 1 for 70, wouldn't be able to cash you for couple of weeks though as rego due, so if you get another offer feel free to take it, does it have all the controllers and so forth and does it function properly?

Where abouts are you located?

Also do you have the 32x for sale as well?

Mega cd 1 and mega drive 1 I assume you mean?

It's not going anywhere and it worked last time I checked. I can do a check this week again for you though. Comes with a few controllers and the like no problems. :)
