Commanders: Attack of the Genos

This is a game that I've had my eye on for awhile. Having played the demo, it looks like what I was expecting - Massive Assualt / Advance Wars style simple turn-based strategy thing, nice neat graphics, a few little interesting twists. Normally it would be an insta-purchase for me, but since the PS3 has become my primary console and this is only 15 missions long in the campaign, I'm wondering if it is worth the 800 points.

Has anyone else bought it? If so I'd be interested in your impressions of the full game.

I only found out about this game today, and I'm pumped for it.
Sounds like a perfect XBLA game to me. In concept anyhow.
It was the slowest XBL download ever for me. 100meg in 2.5 hours....

Will be trying the demo very shortly.

Initial impressions are very favorable. This game can't hide it's quality inspiration. Very Advance Wars like.

Tried the demo, and while I really enjoyed it, I won't be grabbing it. But that is only because I totally suck at strategy games. If you are a fan of the genre I would say go for it.

Spot on pilon.

I've played through the demo now, and it's ok and all, but if you're playing Advance Wars....yeeeaaahhh, NO thanks. This seems slower paced than AW too.
This game is now clumped in with Omega Five as games I'll maybe get on a rainy day.

btw, I'm on level 19 of campaign on Days of Ruin now, and it is all kinds of awesome.
