Ok so colour me disappointed that my HERO Lowdnesy can break an axel off-camera when he was supposed to be on pole for the next race !!!!
........and WHO is this V-Burger kid, comes out of nowhere and starts mixing it up with the much touted "young-guns". I say go-for-it Burger you may just well catch Courtney napping while he's checking his share portfolio, and the Kelly brothers while their sibling rivalry distracts them from using the brake pedal ***I'm looking at you Rick***.

Sandown was absolutely fucking amazing this weekend. Every race was nailbiter, edge of the seat stuff, from start to finish.
I really hope they leave Sandown as sprint races and the small enduro at Phillip Island. I think the tracks are better suited to that way around.
I'd like to see a stickied V8s thread, but I can't see it happening. Maybe a general motorsport thread also covering F1, MotoGP and the rest, would have a better chance?

RIGHTEOUS FURY
Do stickies cost money or something ?.......its a no-brainer, WE NEED A V8 STICKY THREAD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!.............I mean, don't you agree, I wouldn't want to come across as overbearing or anything.Twiztid Elf wrote: I'd like to see a stickied V8s thread, but I can't see it happening. That was stupid bad luck for Lowndes. Good weekend for Ford fans though, and it was nice to get a look at the FG. Hope we see it in action later this year.
I reckon you should have a sticky general motorsport one so you can also cover the MotoGP. Did you watch last night's one? Not much contest for the lead after Pedrosa bolted, but some awesome battles between Rossi and Stoner plus some good action throughout the field.

Going to the Nationals at Calder Park years ago was the best, street cars, bikes, doorslammers and Top fuelers was gobb smacking. The Noise and smell was awesome. Not too mention the Jet Cars they would have now and then. Sitting on the hill in summer, having a few beers and watching the top fuelers do 4-5 sec quarter passes was pure bloody ecstasy.
Everybody be cool.....You be cool

Good to see Stoner getting back on track with another win at Donington. Rossi second and Pedrosa third - it looks like the season is basically going to be fought out amongst them three eh. They all race well together too, which makes it pretty exciting. It's also great to see that Ant West finished 10th. I hope Kawasaki sticks with him and they start getting more competitive.
PS. Make this a general motorsport thread? Can a V8s dedicated one be sustained?

Excellent.
Good work webber on getting in the points again! I missed the race but I dreamt he came fourth so I kind of watched it (yeah, I don't know why I dreamt about it either. My other dream was my housemate cutting the head off a girl I know with a broken stubby).

Yea, he was way out of line stating in a press conference that he thought it was a legitimate pass on Vettel. That kind of attitude even on the track after the chicane drama last round and being slotted back to 11th on the grid is totally unprofessional, despite how good he is. God, I loved the look of his old man in the McLaren garage... IN YOUR FACE HAMILTON!!! GO STONER!
