The future is not set! It's also confirmed that the film comes to rest on a cliffhanger, and that "The Dark Knight" co-writer Jonah Nolan has come onboard and done some major rewrites on the script, so much so that he may get sole WGA credit at the end. McG closed the panel with news that the next trailer will be attached to the new James Bond film "Quantum of Solace" on November 7th.

Arnold's Terminator Return Gets a Little More Promising!
When Does Arnold Head Into the Sound Studio?
Reported By: TheArnoldFans Staff
Friday, Augusts 1, 2008
It's only August and TheArnoldFans doesn't plan on meeting up with Arnold again in person until December. That's a long four months to go until we can get Governor Schwarzenegger to hopefully give us the exclusive on when he'll be contributing to Terminator Salvation. From what we learned at Comic Con by McG's statements to the fans, and by some live sources we spoke with on the side, Arnold fans should indeed be happy with this film.
As we reported in the past, Roland Kickinger was to play the Arnold role but the real question is...just how much of Roland's actual face will be seen on the big screen? We were at one time told that he looks like a young Arnie from T1 so he was cast. But now, far too many sources are telling us that there will be a CG Arnold, so this leaves us to believe that Roland will only be the body of the cyborg. Is it possible Roland had to wear a greenscreen mask over his entire head which would later become a more familiar Austrian face? It shouldn't be too much longer until one of us tracks down McG or Roland to ask exactly that question. Otherwise we can ask Arnold in December to hear his coded and teasing McG-ish response.

fingers crossed something happensThe Wolfenstein movie is still in development and Roger Avary is “working on the script right now” according to id Software CEO Todd Hollenshead.
“With the writer’s strike it took so long to get underway and Roger Avary, the writer, had a commitment that was in line before working the Wolfenstein stuff, but I’ve recently been in contact with Roger and he’s actually working on the script right now,” Hollenshead told Eurogamer.
“I think that from a progress standpoint it’s probably gone a little bit slower than what we would have expected - you can’t control these strikes and so on.”
Hollenshead said he hasn’t actually seen any of Avary’s work yet, speculating that the Oscar-winning script-writer probably doesn’t want to show anyone anything until he’s taken a run through it himself.

Gibson and Glover Up for Lethal Weapon 5?
Source: TrackingB.com August 6, 2008
Hollywood tracking board TrackingB.com reports that Shane Black, who wrote the first Lethal Weapon movie, has written a spec script for Lethal Weapon 5 without telling anyone. The site adds that he contacted franchise producer Joel Silver and said that he wanted to continue the story.
This time, homicidal Riggs (Mel Gibson) is about to retire, but pulls Murtaugh (Danny Glover) out of retirement to solve one final case, before they both officially head off into the sunset.
TrackingB.com says that Gibson and Glover are down to return, but no deals have been signed.

Danny Glover more then likely yes, i still think Mel would be able to pull it off. The same thing was said about Harrison Ford being 62 ( I think ) doing a new Indiana Jones movie so who knows, it could happen.GameHED wrote:I was just watching the original the other day.
They really would be "too old for this shit" though wouldn't they? How is he going to do the three stooges move without telegraphing the move to the bad guy and hurting himself?
