If anyone does decide to get it let us know what the limbs are like in terms.
I've heard the second run is slightly better than the first run somewhere. I'm not sure which run that target ones are.
here is a comparison of mp04 trailer with the justi toys one:

Looks like the official trailer wins in terms doors opening properly and transforming:
but front and back look better on the justtoys:
I have heard there was another unofficial trailer with roller in it. Upsized G1 trailer? (mentioned in this review)Can't seem to find that anywhere

that was one of the best episodes...fucking beast wars was so good..Candy Arse wrote:Dunno if you boys are Beast Wars fans, but there was an episode featuring Starscream, and the guy who voiced him was also the guy who voiced Terrosaur in the BW series, and he was pretty fucking accurate with his portrayal. He would be more than capable of doing it for the new movie.

heh surprised there was no hotrod. After all he had the shield and the lightsaber thing in the animated movie fighting that training robot..
Oh btw I went into kmart today: finally my fave line is here!
They had universe prowl, universe tankor (triple changer - look pretty good in all modes considering) universe sunstreaker.
Ended up getting prowl.
He looks very good and is as poseable as classics mirage. But unlike him he has nice sense of bulk to his body and nice balance in overall shape. (no limbs that look skinny with fat too-wide chest, or chunky tree stump legs with undersized hips) No part of the body seems out of proportion. (unlike with say classics starscream where he has very long shins that has the tendancy to make his arms seem short)
I am very happy that they didn't use the spring loaded gimmick in this toy since I like guns to look normal on my toys. (his gun is nice and slim and looks like a proper weapon. This is complemented by the two shoulder-mounted rockets which makes him look complete. The rocket weapons are part of his transformation and attached to hinges and not added-on pieces that can be taken off - I like that!)
Prowl transformation is also complex too: sorta like a smaller alternator. If you go more for bumblebee type ease of transformation you might find yourself getting a little impatient trying to get him from form to form.
Was so looking for Galvatron though. I will definitely be painting over the safety orange on him which destroys his appeareance when I do finally get around to it.
Aah would be so good for them to release Springer from the 80s animated transformers movie. Would really love to see all the triple changing guys done in this line.
What else was there:
-Blaster (looks ok but is some kinda of fighter now - he'd be low on my buy list)
-Heavy Load
-Dropshot
I'm surprised Galvatron didn't get released as a voyager class toy like classic prime. I think his character would have benefited in larger size.
If you are a fan of G1 fucking buy prowl! So far he is my next deluxe classic/universe in bot mode followed by mirage. Mirage looks like crap on the box but once you see him in bot mode you appreciate the idea that he has sorta a monkey type body. (think yun and yang characters from streetfighter III)
If you liked the skinny body type of ninja prowl in transformers animated I think you'd like mirage. But universe Prowl beat Classics Mirage because his ankles are more posable which is a little bit better posability. He's got the double-jointed knees too. But no double-jointed elbows like classics mirage.
These car robots kick arse. If only they put at much effort into jets as well. If they can make a skinny-arse Formula 1 car that transforms into a skinny robot. Why not a skinny fighter jet (or space fighter) into a skinny robot?
This is what I want for a 3rd series in the universe line:
-Springer, (make him a voyager)
-Slag (he was my fave dinobot behind grimlock
-The rest of the aerialbots
-Ratchet
-Blur (yeah I suppose they are already doing it in TFA line but maybe after that line has finished maybe?)
-Ravage (some robotic animals would be cool - steal some of the things from zoids! )
-Warpath (that tank guy who fought on the autobots side in g1. I don't like his boob-gun design in bot mode, though so I hope they change the transformation ofr his update)
-Seaspray (I had his g1 toy as a little kid - love this guy's voice in the cartoon which sounded like he was always speaking underwater )
-Blitzwing (again it's been done for TFA toyline but when this line is over maybe they oculd revisit it again - I love the triple-changers!)
He's only 1 colour, the only tank amongst cars, and a distinctive head shape. He stands out so much. Needs an update so he can fight universe galvatron in a tank vs tank fight.

I think you can see him in this music vid at 0:54:
Don't mind the Rocky 4 music ..
Been a while since I've done some figure hunting. I've got to start looking around for the next wave of Universe/classic2.0 toys. I must get Cyclonus!
Review: a more detailed review of the targetmaster here: The problem of chunky plane/fighter mode still remains unfortunately..

i think its a bad picture...it was more neon purple in real life or whatever the fuck that colour was..t0mby wrote: Ahahahahahaahah
No wonder some of you guys turned out the way you did WITH PINK TOYS!
as for gen 1 transformers starscream and megatron were my favorite..
though thinking back now bumblebee does seem to be the homosexual role model of the series...infact most of the autobots are pretty gay..
