Re: The Marketplace
Snoopy Flying Ace this week. It's pretty much Crimson Skies but in the Snoopy Universe. 16 player aerial battles with power ups and speed boosts in massive open arenas.
It also has a single player campaign, but I think it has both in and out of the plane action.

Re: The Marketplace
I noticed that Soul Calibur IV got added to games on demand. At a price point like $29.95 I could genuinely see myself grabbing one or two, and Soul Calibur in my head doesn't seem all that old either (though it probably is).

Transformers: War For Cybertron Demo Coming Tomorrow (11/06/10)
Revealed exclusively during our Kotaku Talk Radio podcast, Xbox 360 owners can slip into the boots of the big bots tomorrow in the online multiplayer demo for Transformers: War for Cybertron. According to our podcast guest, developer developer Matt Tieger, the 360 will be the only platform scoring a demo for the game.

WRC demo is up and its not to shabby! Any rally fans here should give it a crack!

I thought WRC looked fairly shitty after the demo play-through I had.

Re: The Marketplace
I quite enjoyed the WRC demo. Sure the graphics aren't amazing, and I didn't really like how the AI desperately wanted to pull you around 180 degrees when you lightly scrape the sides regardless of forward momentum.
But most importantly, they've pretty much nailed the feel of drifting most important in a real rally game.
This compared to the Dirt/Dirt2 abomination. This wins by miles.
Real rally game - woot.
I can see me picking this up down the track, and it's guaranteed to sell gangbusters in Europe.

Wow very impressed with WRC myself. Visually OK it's not much to talk about, but the driving model feels REALLY good.

Re: The Marketplace
I was hunting for the PC demo and came across impressions from rally nuts, they reckoned it wasn't that good and that even the old CMR2 was better. Might try the 360 version instead.

Re: The Marketplace
For the month of October (which I sometimes like to refer to as Rocktober) spend 2400 mech's moon money and get an 800 point credit.

Re: The Marketplace
Haven't tried it yet but would be nice to use a proper flight stick rather than a gamepad.

Re: The Marketplace
Free game on XBLA, Doritos Crash Course. I think the US got another free game though... Harms way.
DCC is about 57MB. Seems to be some kind of Avatar platformer.

Re: The Marketplace
Doritos Crash Course is actually a lot of fun. Simple platforming mechanics and some really nice physics. Really cool simple game that uses your avatar.

Re: The Marketplace
My kids are into this - It reminds me of Trails HD on a Wipeout (yes, the tv game show) course.
