I think they aren't split up Sculli, I dig Alien 3 so that's cool and Ressurection has Hellboy in it so that's amusing. Fucken awesome docos on the extras discs too.

Hi- def movies you've seen lately
Aliens is my fave for sure, fucken remaster is glorius on blu Ray you must purchase it Burnz.
157 mins for the se is approaching epic length though, I just got to the finish of the marines first encounter last night(Eat This!) and fuck me but that particular little sequence is so frantic, cuts b/w explosions, aliens, fire, closing the door, alien grabs the door, Help!, Eat This! Bang!, acid, screams, close the fucken door!!!, Ripley PUNCH IT!
Every time it gets me, JC at his best.

Re: Hi- def movies you've seen lately
The Pacific.
The first time I watched it on tv, I didnt think it was great, good but not great. I thought I'd give it another go and I'm glad I did. I enjoyed Band of Brothers more but this is still very very good. I guess seeing more of WWII films based in Europe and playing Medal of Honor on my pc, its what I was grown up with and I didnt know much about the war against the Japanese in the pacific. I'm glad I went out and bought it. The PQ is outstanding and SQ is a 5/5, from the whizzing of bullets flying past you on the surrounds to the explosions vibrating the walls of my house from the 2 subbys. This is definately one you would want to have in your collection.

Re: Hi- def movies you've seen lately
Watched my first Blu-Ray HD movies today.
Reservoir Dogs. Amazing film. One of my personal favorites. Sure, it looked nice, but I don't think the HD really added that much to it.
Speed Racer. This is the poster boy tech demo for Blu-Ray right? Visually amazing. And the movie itself isn't too bad at all. Quite enjoyed it.

Just watched The Last Exorcism on blu ray. Twas great! Quite creepy and seeping in dread. You just know it won't end well. The acting is great for a modern horror movie. Really well worth a watch. I'd rate it an 8.5/10.

Nice. Star Wars out in Sept. I look forward to George Lucas having more of my money.
Also TRON Legacy looks fuckin pimp on blu.

NICE Candy Arse. I picked up War of the Worlds cheap from JB and would like to get Minority report. The rest I have on DVD and that will do. I haven't watched my TRON Legacy on Blu yet Bruce but I watched a dodgey copy a while ago and thought I so have to get this in HD with that soundtrack pumping!

LoTR extended and Star Wars are next on the list. I'll pay for the X-Men collection once it comes down a bit more. 3 is shite so I'm really only buying the first two.

I'll be waiting to see reviews of the LotR extended, given the abysmal transfer that the theatrical releases were given on blu.

LOTR? Can't say I'm excited at all and definitely never gave a fuck about the movies. 3hrs (or is that 4-5hrs nowadays) of pathetic fucking bore per movie with a splash of homo erotica between 2 fucking midgets.
Only trilogy is Star Wars, cunts.

Re: Hi- def movies you've seen lately
Watched Tangled for the first time on blu the other day.
Fuck me what a great movie. Best thing Disney has put out since the 90s. It was hilarious and the art design is goddamn gorgeous.
Really impressed.

Not hd but I just watched I'm not here the Joaquin Phoenix mockumentary. It was bizarre and hilarious.
