Re: Pinball thread including shinies and balls and stuff
Or you could just import it if you don't. Only reason anyone would get a copy from the UK specifically is if they only have a 360.
I might still get it anyway despite having a US PS3 copy purely so I can tap into XBL friends scoreboards (if they've been setup properly... they were shitful on PS3).

Yes you could. I got the impression that it was incredibly difficult to get a hold of though hence the Canadian suggestion.

Have you got the PS3 version Elf? The Ninja Gaiden Sigma table is pretty cool.

Yuppers. I have it. Can't beat your score.
The Zen Pinball tables are way harder than FX2.

Stolen from another forum.
[REPLY=griefmaker] Yes it's free
You download this first which is just a tool to help you make your own pinball games "Future Pinball is a free pinball simulator created by Christopher "Black" Leathley".
http://www.futurepinball.com/
Then after you install that you go here to download the fan made tables; "unofficial list of almost every table ever produced for Future Pinball". You have to register at this site to be able to download them, but i did that and it's free.
http://www.pinsimdb.org/pinball/index-10-future_pinball
It's a piece of cake and then you can play pinball games like this and all for free.

Re: Pinball thread including shinies and balls and stuff
Zen Piball 3D is up on the 3DS store for $7.50 It comes with 4 tables, online play and leaderboards.
Looks okay, but I can't find any reviews yet. It does claim to have the most realistic physics in a video game... So they are claiming it's better than the 360 and PS3 titles.

Re: Pinball thread including shinies and balls and stuff
Im not a big pinball fan (in other words i'm shit at it) but I downloaded the 3DS Zen Pinball. Seems pretty good. Although like usual 3D doesnt really add anything to the gameplay but it does tend to help with accuracy a little. The online leaderboards are worked really well into the game, with scores and names flashing during play of whose score you have beaten so far in your game.

It's a pretty good asking price... Hopefully Nintendo-Life review it soon. I would mind see what others think.
Re: Pinball thread including shinies and balls and stuff
I have joined the Pinbal FX bandwagon
I had a spare 200 points left over on my xbox account so I bought street fighter II. I'm loving it so far, 5mil is my best score after 3 or 4 credits; I'm just below grey wizard.
Of the other tables available which are the more popular/best playing ones?

Re: Pinball thread including shinies and balls and stuff
You're still on my friends list aren't you Boomy?
I'm a huge fan of Pinball FX2 and it's easily in my top ten of this gen, and my number 1 downloadable game. I've pumped so much time into this game it's ridiculous. They don't have a total timer, but each table does have a total time played. I must go through and add up the total sometime.
My favourite tables are:
Excalibur, Wolverine and Thor,
But all of them are good through to excellent. You can't really go wrong.
The only one I would say is truely horrible is Rocky and Bullwinkle. A couple of the Pinball FX1 tables are a bit too difficult/annoying also.
All the tables have their own tricks and secrets. Street Fighter is to keep the ball save active as much as possible. It's easy to activate.

Re: Pinball thread including shinies and balls and stuff
I'm guessing iOS version will get more support fom the devs as there is probably way more money to be had. Interesting to see if it gets extra tables. How many tables are they looking at for iOS?

Re: Pinball thread including shinies and balls and stuff
The game and Sorcerors Lair are free. Thor, Wolverine, and Captain America are $2 each (I think). Excalibur has also just come out on it.
Not quite as good as on XBLA (there is the very occassional very brief framerate drop), but pretty damn close. On my iPad2 anyhow. iOS 5 is required.

Is Zen pinball coming out on vita? If so do I need to buy a new memory card for each table?

Why would you need to do that? Are you planning on buying 500kb memory cards?Cardsy wrote:Is Zen pinball coming out on vita? If so do I need to buy a new memory card for each table?
