yeah... How the hell could I forget that. Alex Ross is must a genius.

I've never been a huge Marvel fan, what are some cool issues that introduced what are now major characters?

Those Steranko covers are so trippy. They look like the covers of old spy novels, or even late 60's movie posters.

Wolverine first turned up in an issue of Hulk yes?

I love Hitman by Garth Ennis but the cover to issue 1 is so dull... Maybe the final issue or even the newer Justice League cross over cover... Where he is sitting at the JL's table with his feet up while the JL all look at him with a wtf? look on their faces.

Just read America's Got Powers and really enjoyed it.

I think I'm over DC again... their story telling is just horrible. Marvel can do a story line in 6 issues and it makes sense. DC is 8 issues and jumping all over the place with heaps of time shifting and things getting overlooked or left out. Action Comics started off so well and then started to just jump... fuck I got lost. Also the artwork in issue 8 of Action was balls... seriously the last frame of Superman was embarrassing. I think it was teeth wrapped in a super suit...

Oh and they have started cross over story lines already. Way to attempt to sell more comics... Just give us well written compelling stories and we will throw cash at you! Fucking night of the owls involving any comic with a slim relation to batman... meh...

Fuck you DC for being so brave and ballsy with Earth2. It's what the new 52 should have been. I reboot of the entire universe.

I've found a reason to stop reading Deathstroke. Rob Liefeld is writing and drawing it. What a fucking waste...

Oh he wrote an issue of Grifter, it's a huge low point in the series. I'm sure he'll draw an issue in the future and Grifter will have about a million pockets on his outfit for no fucking reason.

I've read the New New 52 and thought I would share my thoughts on the titles:

Batman Inc.

I'm guessing this is a continuation of a series that started before the old new 52 because I had no idea what was happening. I'm pretty sure it's meant to be about a worldwide team of Batmen (because dc needs another team, they are in such short supply) but it was just a conversation between Batman and d-bag... Robin. The highlight was
Damian getting shot in the face

Dial H

A reboot of the old campy Dial H for Hero comic, it feels like it should be a Vertigo comic. I can see it's going to be really fucking out there. I hope the craziness and general silliness of it continues, but it might have a short lifespan requiring a new new new 52.

G.I. Combat

It's Man Of War with a new name, expect it to be cancelled.

The Ravagers

Gen 13 and Teen Titans rolled into one. Caitlin Fairchild leads a group of misfits... blah blah blah teen teams are hot right now. First issue was okay but it feels like there are too many teams in the dcu at the moment.

Earth 2

Best comic of the entire new 52. I'm guessing a lot of people were upset by the half hearted reboot. Some stuff was rebooted other things only got minor changes. Enter Earth 2 and everything has changed. Major DC characters die and we get what feels like a new generation of heroes which are based on the JSA. I can't wait for some Alan Scott butsects. It's an exciting comic and what they should have done with the actual reboot.

World's Finest

Out of the pages of Earth 2, Mr. Terrific and Birds of Prey. Powergirl and Huntress team up trying to make their way back to Earth 2. Could be good but I disapprove of how covered up Powergirl is.

I read the first issue of Before Watchmen, Minutemen #1by Darwyn Cooke. I really enjoyed it. I dig his artwork and I think the dude is a great story teller. He pays the characters a lot of respect.

In reading and enjoying it I am surprised Alan Moore didn't teleport into my bedroom and kill me while I slept. I'm sure he has those powers.

I'm hoping the quality stays up there and they have a great story to tell so this doesn't just feel like a dirty cash in.

I just saw some pic on Brian Michael Bendis' tumblr account and every one has new crazy outfits and Nick Fury is black. It was meant to be the new marvel or something.

Another liefeld special. This is from a month ago. Check out Lobo's hand that is holding the pizza. The angle of the hand is wrong, I tried to put my hand in that position, and then I noticed the fingers. Why is this guy still drawing comics??
