How easy is it to breathe in one of those stormtrooper costumes, and do you wear any clothes underneath?

Re: The Stormtrooper Thread - Comic Con Melb this weekend
It gets more comfortable the longer you wear it. These are fitted costumes so they might wear a bit better than one not specifically made to fit you. I wear only underwear under the body suit. I sweat very little. Juz wears a shirt under his body suit. I find I actually get very cold in the cold weather. The armour amplifies the outside temperature. The cold plastic lowers your body temperature which is probably fine if you're a bit heavier than me. Leaving the event and walking to the car was brutal cold. I assume the same will apply in reverse in hot weather. It was cold enough yesterday toward the end that breathing was enough to fog the lenses. There's a sweet spot where you can move about and wear the helmet for quite long periods. The only reason you'd take off the helmet then is so everyone loses interest in getting their photo taken with you, allowing you to look at the stalls.flipswitch wrote:How easy is it to breathe in one of those stormtrooper costumes, and do you wear any clothes underneath?

The helmet is actually better left on for that kind of thing.

The 501st came on pretty strong the few times we ended up in their corner. They wanted us to join up.
We didn't join up.

Are you kind of hinting that you want Stormtrooper sackshadow action?
I can't speak for Juz but he's in.
Done and done.

Burnzoire thinks he's still a little short for a stormtrooper.
