Australian-made, too! The guy who made it is going to be at PAX this weekend, I'm hoping to at least shake his hand... if getting to his stand doesn't involve walking up stairs, then down them, then turning around and jumping in the one spot.Gamma wrote:I played a little bit of this recently and it's amazing. I want more games that fuck with my head like that.
I was a bit bummed when I saw I missed out on that... by minutes. Forgot how long the flash sales went for. Hopefully it springs up again, but if not it's no big loss.pilonv1 wrote:Got Euro Truck Sim 2 for $10

I wonder if that Euro Truck Sim is the one a guy at work was raving about. Actually sounded good and since I've been driving trucks for over 5 years.....

You should really buy a Wii U to level things out. It's good to take a break from gaming every now and then.

Re: Steam sale - what have you picked up?
Aw thanks, but it's not the affording it or not that concerns me, just if it appears again or not! Can't believe I missed it that one time. Damnit. Worst case, I'll just give tomby a call and have him regale me with tales from the open road...pilonv1 wrote:I'm sure it will come up again. If it does I'll gift it to you

Re: Steam sale - what have you picked up?
Just go into your inventory and each item has a sell on market button. That will give you what it's gone for previously.
I made about $10-12 the week before the sale in cards. Prices have bottomed out now sadly, unless you get a foil one

Give him a high-five from me and tell him his game's better than Portal.Shaneus wrote:Australian-made, too! Re: Steam sale - what have you picked up?
Yesterday I had to drive to Lobethal in the Adelaide hills to pick up a 38tonne reefer (logistic speak for refrigerated container) for export and the weather was arse, windy as fuck. On the way a guy got out of his car without looking and his dog jumped out infront of me. Thanks to my awesome driving skills I've gathered over the years from cheating I made an evasive maneuver and managed to avoid the dog and run over the man instead.Shaneus wrote:Worst case, I'll just give tomby a call and have him regale me with tales from the open road...
On the way back I watched some firemen use chainsaws to cut up a tree that fell over the road.
I also had a pepperoni dog for lunch.

Picked up Just Cause for 27c today. Probably won't ever get around to playing it with the huge backlog of games I have on Steam. But for 27c it was impossible to pass up.
