Divinity Original Sin
Anyone else playing this? Fantastic open world western RPG along the lines of Baldurs Gate. Looks absolutely beautiful, you can completely customise your character away from the classic roles and the combat is turn based but you can use the environment - cast a rain scroll if you're fighting fire enemies for example. There's also drop in co-op if you really need it but you can play the whole game single player.

It does look pretty. Wish I had the time to sink into it.

Re: Divinity Original Sin
I've played this non-stop for the past two days, it's awesome.
I've now got a talent called Pet Pals which gives you dialogue options and quests from animals. I've spent the last hour talking to every animal I've found on the map.

Read the eurogamer review and it sounds good. The game isn't really open world.pilonv1 wrote:Anyone else playing this? Fantastic open world western RPG along the lines of Baldurs Gate. More money needs to be spent on balancing the combat.
Hopefully it comes to Wii U. PC is doomed. All the PC RPGs should go to console.

It's open world in that you can wander off into areas you're not meant to.
Stop ruining my thread ruinerAll the PC RPGs should go to console.

What a cool game, looks great too. Only played a little bit but looking forward to sinking some serious hours in it. Great buy for $40.

It would be totally out of place on a console being a back to roots rpg.GameHED wrote:Hopefully it comes to Wii U. PC is doomed. All the PC RPGs should go to console.
No hand holding here you have to figure out everything. Some of the quests are fucking hard to figure out but once you do its so satisfying.
Such a good game

Curse you, Pilon. Have been thinking of this game repeatedly. Just finished reading the very flattering Eurogamer review. I really don't need another 50 hour RPG.

Don't curse him for telling you about good rpgs. Mutually masturbate his cock (all the imprisoned pirate pc gamers are engaged in prison sex with each other pretending to be in a medieval dungeon roleplaying as half naked female elves with magic titties) while you drool at this game instead:
Pillars of Eternity (obsidian much like bethesda are known to make buggy shit though, so don't expect them to make it for wii u) older interview: I wish these people would bring back wizardry type rpg with first person view. Then port it to wii u. Seeing monsters from the human height is way better. Maybe when the VR goggle fad takes off...Sony will kill oculus with thier goggles.

After that, don't forget this:
C64 version in the old days:

tomby probably thought this couldn't be done on snes because nintendo consoles are not strong enough to handle the c64 awesome tech specs.
Then this:
All these games should be ported to wii u.
