Thought you were getting an Alfa or that other one (too lazy to check what it was)?

The other one was the Renault.
Couldn't get the Alfa in the colour I wanted or within my budget.

Re: What do you drive?
So anyway, it looks like the next few years are going to be great for sports car lovers. Honda are releasing the new NSX, S2000, and S660 - all mid-engined vehicles. Toyota are doing a turbo version of the 86, and with any luck they'll put the FT-1 into production as the new Supra. There are faint rumblings of a new MR2 in the works as well, but nothing even as firm as the FT1 yet.
If the new S2000 is anywhere near as pretty as the concept, it'll be one sexy car, and I'll probably get it.
Good times.

Bought a ford focus trend 2014 mkII today. Should be ready by Tuesday.
Took some photos, don't ask why (the car isn't pictured)

Re: What do you drive?
As most of you know I bought a mint bike last Sept. A Yamaha YZF-R6 2005 model with only 14k on the clock.
Well, about 4 weeks after I had it I was in a bit of an accident that ended up with the bike all tangled and twisted in the wheel arch of a 4x4. I managed to walk away although it did take the best part of 9 months for my knee to heal completely despite doing my best to hide it.
Anyway, the bike was pretty fucked up. All the plastic fairing on both sides was smashed, left handle broken, blah blah blah. Front forks needed to be removed to replace a steering component that was twisted.
Upon replacing that I was walking back to the bike and noticed the rear lights and number plate wasn't directly over the center of the wheel.
So the rear sub frame was twisted as well.
Yesterday, I finally put the last of the bike back together. Apart from the front forks that needed two people I am proud to say I did it all myself and possibly saved myself around $2000 in labour costs from taking it to a shop.
Sorry for the quality of pic, tablet doesn't have many options when in the bright ight.
Parts replaced.
Front lower Triple Tree = $140
Rear Subframe = $450
Complete Fairing = $650
Front headlight assembly = $80
Replace pilion seat with single seat option = $40
Rear comparment lock = $90
Side casing for motor = $50
Left hand Handle bar = $110
New handle grips = $20
New throttle = $20
Front brake discs = $300
New flush mounted indicators $15
Counter weights for handlebars = $20
Exhaust bracket = $60
And God knows how much time I've spent on it.
Rego'd it yesterday after being on hold since December and it feels like a new bike. Had a few compliments at a bike cafe yesterday with no one believing 11 months ago it was twisted beyond all recognition.

As expected the new XR8 is a GT R spec with a facelift and probably the performance bargain of the forever.
Now if only I knew if I am getting a pay rise or fired.
