X-Box Bundle at JB Hifi
Went to JB Hifi on my lunch break, and saw that they have an X-Box Bundle (not 360!) on sale.
X-Box Console, 1 controller, Forza Motorsport & Halo 2... for $149!
Seems like a bargain to me.
This was JB Hifi Castle Hill, Sydney, NSW, Australia.
Edit - They are now sold out (at both Castle Hill and Parramatta stores). The X-Box on its own was $99.

I got the latest JBhifi catalog today and there is only x360 listed. It says $543 with trade in of your xbox1 console(normally $643). you save $100, so I am doubtful they are selling the xbox 1 alone at its trade in value.
PS2 slimline is $187 and PS2 silver+AFL game is $244.
Btw how much do bogans charge for xbox 1 mods these days?

Hmm, well I said apparently as it's just what I've read on another forum but that sucks if it's not true.BOOMY wrote:I got the latest JBhifi catalog today and there is only x360 listed. I didn't think that JB-Hifi even did trade-ins..
edit: I got a hardware mod for $50 done last year sometime, but that was just the installation of the modchip & price of the modchip. No HDD upgrades or anything as most of what I watch I stream directly from siblings PC's which are already loaded up with media, and seemingly indefinitely on.
They were in actual entertainment Pack X-Box boxes (that said one driving game, one action game on them), and to me didn't look like trade-ins. The price point sign certainly didn't say that they were pre-owned/second hand! I would have thought that they would have to if they were second hand?mxlegend99 wrote:If they're trading in Xbox consoles against 360's, i'd say that these $99 Xbox consoles are pre-owned. And that the bundle is probably a pre-owned console also.
Hope they aren't though.
If anyone is going to buy one, I'd suggest they call ahead first just to confirm whether they are pre-owned. There was no indication that they were from the stand and the sign at JB.

Well, AFAIK they should have to specify if they're pre-owned. Atleast you'd imagine so anyway.DjBigK wrote:They were in actual Pack X-Box boxes, and to me didn't look like trade-ins. Got both games... i'd ebay them or trade them against something lol. I have a modded Xbox, but it's a shitty Thompson drive and it's that old, the HDD is only 80gigs. At a $150, plus another $200 for a 300gig hard drive, i could have a media centre with all my pir... uhhh backed up movies and TV Shows

Yo boomy, I finally got a chance to check out the catalogue for myself today... on the front page Xbox's are @ $99, and in small print it says that the $149 Entertainment Pack is also available...BOOMY wrote:I got the latest JBhifi catalog today and there is only x360 listed. Still $149 w/2 games is a pretty ace bargain too.
