Re: Goodbye Gene Wilder
He's literally my all time favourite actor. I might have said that before here. But whenever the favourite actor question is asked, no hesitation for me, it's Gene Wilder. And often people are like "what? really? why?" And that response always bewilders me.
Actually I've said it many times here

Re: Goodbye Gene Wilder
I was going to write that I always wanted to be Wilder.
Young Frankenstein is pretty dated. A lot of the comedy doesn't really stand up. But there are still moments, like "Nice Hopping" or when he arrives at the castle and is asked if he wants a brandy or water or Ovaltine that are still hilarious. While most of the jokes fall flat now, Wilder is still amazing to watch.Candy Arse wrote:Nice hopping

The bit from Blazing Saddles where he explains why he is no longer the Waco Kid. Beautiful delivery that gives you the feels and then makes you laugh.
