1. Besides Giant Bomb who selected PUBG as their GOTY...the world's leading video game websites/publications (e.g. EDGE, IGN, Eurogamer, Gamespot, Polygon, Game Informer, Destructoid) have all officially crowned The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild as the 2017 GAME OF THE YEAR!!!

2. Nintendo's GOTY is pretty much either Zelda: Breath of the Wild (which runs at 30fps/900p) or Super Mario Odyssey (which runs at 60fps/900p). Neither of the games are "sub 720".

3. Did you hear?...PUBG on Xbox One X has a shockingly bad frame-rate dropping as low as 19FPS!!!. Digital Foundry have in fact described the Xbox One/Xbox One X version of PUBG as a "DISASTER"!

Plus who needs PUBG, when you have the incredible Splatoon 2 (running at 1080p/60fps) on Nintendo Switch to play instead?

The Xbox version of Playerunknown's Battlegrounds is superb now. And of course, there's no cheating. I'm almost tempted to play it over the Master race version due to the cheating... But I've grown accustomed to pc gaming again and I'm enjoying it there.

We can and we should, after all, more people play PUBG than Mario or Zelda on a daily basis and I'm not surprised since it is the 2017 GOTY. I'd be surprised if it wasn't released on the Switch by 2019 then people could play it on the bus or leech the free wifi at Maccas in Blacktown.
