NRL Season 2019 - Broncos barely lose 58-0

The league is a shambles - players misbehaving, the league can't even get their own rules in place before banning someone, the Raiders are once again a shitshow and QLD is likely to suffer further Origin defeats.

Anyone excited for the upcoming season? I can say with complete certainty that I couldn't give a fuck.

The apathy is not real. It pissed me off, same result different year. Two completely different speeds in the ruck and game over. Well there were more problems than that, like being completely outclassed on 5th tackle options.

What, because Tallis says so? It's not exactly a secret that Tallis has been dirty with the Broncos, and in particular Wayne, for many years now. I stopped taking anything he says Broncos-related seriously a long time ago. Having said that, he does raise some worthy points. The player manager point is particularly concerning. Player managers are a law unto themselves these days it seems.

Anyway, the Broncos have a huge issue with game management right now. Milf and Niko, whilst great ad-lib players, are fucking terrible at steering a team to victory. It can't go on, but I don't know what Seibold does to fix it. There doesn't seem to be a perfect solution right now. The forward pack lacks leaders as well.

My diagnosis: Too many non-QLD players at the Broncos right now.

Agreed on the better team winning, even with no contributions from the halfback or hooker position.

I think if the game were still being played right now, the Boncos would still be allowed to slow down the ruck every tackle as well as play from an offside position. The refs kept it from being a 40 point win.

Milford is fat, lazy and overpaid. At least Greg Inglis had the courtesy to achieve a few things in his career before letting himself go!
