Tears, issues and silent departures ...
Okay boys, a post in the cellar prompted me to create this thread. This is the thread for recalling some of your favourite memories/moments from your time spent on XBL, the laughter, the anger, the one-liners, the broken controllers ... and in the case of one Invasive Tiger ... the FUCKING PARROT!!!!
I'd have to say some of the funniest and most enjoyable game-play related moments occurred in Rallisport 2 for me, fuck that was a funny game. The speed, the complete lack of downforce on all of the fastest cars and as a result the stacks, the half-conversations broken up by moving into new race-positions. It was pure gold.
PGR2 for the jokes and meaningless conversation over huge sessions ... and the limited exposure to PGR3 for the one special night that a stupendously drunk Lepo tried to sell us on the adhesive merits of the BIG RED AUSTRALIA POST RUBBER BAND.
So come on lads, let's get nostalgic ... bring a tear to ol' Cardsy's eyes ...

Sorry Cardsy, I have to bring it up again - 303 then 287 (i think) kudos scores in PGR2 when you were seriously trying PGR3 doesnt put up each players kudos scores at the end of a race so we cant point and laugh anymore.
Tomby getting narky with anyone who slightly brushed his car let alone outright wallfucking him. People soon learned to drive decently.
Me telling others that I play XBL nude and people thinking I'm joking only to realise its true when a photo of myself wearing a headset and a smile is published in the PGR2 Impressions thread.

yeah the joey thing cracked me up so much, incase you don't know the story our rough arse blokey mate agonny excitedly informed us all that the latest episode of Joey is out on the internet... there was a few seconds silence followed by the whole room burtsing into hysterical laughter for a good 10 minutes.
agonny was good about it though, he even sent out blank DVDs with Joey eps to a few of us, luckily I didn't touch mine before reading about it (I think sculli fell for it and informed us).
other hilights were the RS3 variations Quokka (from whippets) created... there was the famous quokka's mad minute with trivia between rounds, and you had to know the top speed of the whippet to join
also we played karaoke sharpshooter, before the round a popular singer/band was named and everyone had to sing one of their songs in the game, this combined with proximity voice was hilarious!

V8 Supercars 2: "Just look at the Map!"
Choc Telling someone off for misjudging a corner and punting someone off the track
Choc: "just look at the map it's not that hard!"
15 seconds later Choc Punting someone off at the next corner.
Chaos: "Just look at the map it's not that hard!"
Choc is then laughed out of the room and has never returned since.

I just remembered the Con teh Fruiterer PGR2 voice mask (special downloadable add-on)
RS3 started my love affair with the shotgun. I remember that first time I broke out the auto shotty on the boat level, apparently the noise could be heard from the other end of the boat as I unloaded a full mag and usually hit nothing, such was my mad skillzors back then.
This led to the creation of the much loved Juztice Halo 2 game mode. Lockout and then the new Covenant ship level led to much mayhem involving shotguns, plasmas and back of the head clubbings.

Many of us were offered a fleshy lollipop by Uncle Cletus. I think this also led to touching on the pants.Shaneus wrote:Uncle Cletus' "lollipop"
