What's the next BIG live game after CoD2?
I think this should be decided upon in advance so we can all 7 day rental it at the same time and see how it goes online, only serious suggestions too so no Prey etc.
I think Gears of War and RS6: Vegas are in the running, not sure about non FPS games there arn't many that I'd put stock in coming out this year (as far as multiplayer goes).
Anyone else?

The neckst Splinter Cell should be LIVE bliss. For those of you unfamiliar, myself and I know Pat will be pimping this game until our guts falls through our arses.
I can honestly say that once you know how to play the versus modes on Splinter Cell,it will be the most intense multiplayer game you'll ever play.

Serious suggestions! No C- grade GTA clones or roster updates allowed.
Splinter Cell sounds appealing, unfortunately it's gonna be a bit of a hackjob on the 360 (different team porting it up to 360), but if they pull off the port with any degree of skill (ie not Prey) I'll probably be in it.
Maybe i'll finally get to go online for more than a game or two with this, I bought Splinter Cell 2 on release and never touched it

The sad part is I wanted to get into it I just couldn't find the time at that part of my life, I even made my brother buy it so we could play something together and have a chat for a cheaper price than a phone call heh.
I think he still has his copy which I can borrow if you want a game sometime Cletus?

im with Cletus... the new Splinter Cell game...
but as usual people wont like it for what it is, so the next big game will be the new Rainbow Six.... (which i might add looks as good as Angelina Jolie tits....)
for me personally its NCAA 07 and Madden 07 (which i will be over the in the US for the launch of)

I'm still going to say Prey IF they fix the netcode. If it gets a patch, it will be worth trying. Sculli and I agree the level design is pretty damn cool in multiprey, and hiding + firing behind portals is a dirty fucking cheat tactic.
Other than that, GoW and Splinter Cell DA are the prime candidates, but Saints Row and R6 Vegas might be worthy. I am suspicious of ubisofts DLC gouging tactics after the GRAW incident, however.
What about Crackdown?
