This should be arriving for me in about a month...
Weird French people mover.
Not exactly what I would have chosen myself... but what can you say - it cost me $0 and I get a fuel card for personal use.
The view from the front windscreen is bizzare.

Why go through all the hassle of gassing the thing when you could just buy a diesel from the outset and have more torque to boot?

Yeah I could have gotten diesel but I had one before my last Hilux and I was put off by it. I used to have trouble finding fuel when I needed it...now I know that sounds strange but at the time I had to know what servos sold it because not all of them did. I know it's different now but I'm happy with petrol. I certainly don't need the torque. I tow nothing and carry equipment that doesn't weigh too much.

I love it. Always wanted a black car and have never had one. People keep saying "oh it's going to be so hard to keep clean".
Like I wash my cars... It's a 4x4, they're meant to look dirty. Although I tend to keep the inside quite neat.

That's what everyone said to me as soon as I said I'd bought a black car. Fuck 'em.

Nice work, Cletus! I normally don't give two shits about pickups/utes or whatever, but that does actually look kinda hot.

Nice one Mr Gun. It has attitude - as evidenced by the lackadaisical manner in which you parked it.

It's actually my first car to have a motor bigger than a 4 cylinder. I think the V6 might get me into a bit of trouble.
Even Nicole keeps going over the limit and she hardly ever speeds.
Something I didn't know it came with was bluetooth handsfree built into the stereo. If the headset is flat or whatever I can just use the stereo.
Electric windows though....
If I had thought about it I would have asked for normal winders.

Na i thought the same too keithy about the prado electric windows, but imo they are the best i've used in any car. And having a V6 i know it goes like the clappers.
One thing i love about the prado is the extra fuel tank it takes around $180 to fill both of them!

Gotta mention this little bit of awesomeness. The car radio is now paired with my dopod. So I can wander around with my blueant headset on and when I get into my car the phone ignores my headset and connects to the stereo. Even if the stereo is off. Even stores 6 speed dial numbers in there. Then when I switch the car off my headset returns to active.
The downside is I still haven't figured how to allow me to switch back to headset if I need to mid call. Nor can I just answer via headset if there are passengers and I'd rather the call not broadcast into the cabin. This may trouble me.

Fuck. I lose it for a whole week while the gas gets fitted, the spare is moved to take the tank and the flexiglass canopy and ladder racks get fitted. Monday to the next monday. Then it's really ready to go. I do love driving around as it's pictured, I just can't work out of it though.

haha, you bet I do - I haven't ridden it in ages though, so the last time I used it, I had to replace the entire drive train first
I'll take a photo of it tomorrow, coz it's so awesome
