FUCK YEA! The bus made it through Regency today!!!!! It is now officially registered as a motorhome! It's taken about 4 months to paint (interior/exterior) furnish and prepare it for general roadworthyness. I can't believe they liked it... we were working late into last night finishing off wiring and patching up oil leaks that kept popping up everywhere, but it's through!jahooley wrote:(ah, what the hell...)
A mate of mine bought this sweet puppy a few months back for less than $1500. It's a 1972 Bedford 4WD. It used to be a school bus!... then Grants Tours.
Nation wide Australian road trip?
Or a pimped out party bus?
It now looks like this, btw :
Interior (theres about 6 couches in the back) :
So I guess the only thing to do now is have a massive (mobile) bus party!
Well now that it's all registered and ready to go we are gonna have a bus party next weekend and I'll prolly throw my decks in there and we'll cruise round town, pulling up outside the big clubs with massive lineups only to steal the show! As for this road trip they're embarking on next year (I'm not going... I have a job), it would be sick to have permanent dex setup. It has a 6 speaker stez too and it kranks!Texas wrote:^That shit rocks!
Come down here, I will DJ on the bus for you!

Oh, nice!
I fucking love Galants and Legnums.
I've actually got myself a '93 V6 Galant. Yeah, it's getting old and run-down, but damn I'll miss it when I get a new car. It amazes people whenever they get in my car just how old it is.
Exact same model as this one, but in dark green.
I'd love to get my hands on a VR4 Legnum, but I'm not really a car person so getting an import would be a very stupid (and costly!) thing for me to do.

I drive a 95 Nissan Skyline R33 <black>, and a 2002 Yamaha R6 <blue>
Mod wise on the car a fair bit had been done to it, had 18 inch vancers originally but now have 17 inch nismo rays racing rims <very light>, have a veilside <original> rear bar with a high wing, <getting front and side skirts soon> have wolf v4 ecu with hand controller, dual boost controller, apexi pod in carbon fibre box, strut bars, have waiting to go in a 3k ignition system with coils and new ecu from redline rotary, getting a intercooler, and going to eventually get buddy blub p1 qf rims in 18" white ...
bike has a yoshimura muffler, k&n filter, braided brake lines, polished rims, internally the engine has been bored to 650cc, and i got some race pistons etc put in as well, it pulls so much stronger now, i beat my mate on his r1 all the time, but he's terrible when it comes to corners lol
Oh and the bus above: !!!!!!!!!!! that's a champion effort so very impressed! for such a good price too!! .. i assume he has a bus licence? that's something i'd like to do at some point too... get a heap of neons in there i think in a blue would make it look awesome, or you could get red ones for when one of the bus's occupants is with a girl, and that way everyone else will know to stay outside for a while, or at least out of the back room with the curtains

My mum has the same car Mech! She has the 6 speed manual, and they're a dream to drive. So smooth on the take off and plenty of power. Really fantastic car.mech wrote:
I want to get the new Mondeo turbo-diesel, but i'll have to stick with what i have now, which is a 2002 Mitsubishi Magna series 2. Average car all round, but it'll do till the kids come along...!
