Totally agree. It's the simple fact it has Forza Horizon 2, and I'm a sucker for playing online with some mates, my cousin and brother that keeps me owning an xbone. Other than that, I'd drop it in no time. PC gaming is, in my humble opinion, the true place to game.Candy Arse wrote:
Not sure why anyone even owns an XBONE, myself included. They're completely redundant.

I hear you dude. We've got more money than sense...I can't personally give you any reason why I own one of those things apart from the fact that I'm OCD on buying everything...

Depends on your taste.
In my world the only game that even exists is halo 5, the best multiplayer game I've played by miles.
Xbox has quite a few good exclusives, and the best controller you can get your hands on (yep, I'm elite).

Just play games on any machine you want always works for me.

I've finally got a hold of this game and so far I love it. That Syria level, damn. That's the tomb raider I've longed for. A perfect cross between old and new tomb raider.

What's your take on the input lag? Its been said to be an issue.

Shit, why'd you tell me that? I hadn't noticed it and now it's probably going to bug me.
If it's real I'd imagine the majority of people won't notice. I guess if you get highly irritated by imperfections in video games then it's going to annoy you.

Rise of the Mother F'n Tomb Raider.
Just read that it's quite high, but if it's not bothering you that's good.
I remember having trouble with killzone 2 & 3's input lag, I absolutely hated it! It was a game breaker for me and I didn't care how fancy the graphics were. It ruined multiplayer for me as well.
Thankfully it was fixed in killzone shadow fall. I was able to enjoy the series for a change, the DS4 helped too.

Yeah Killzone is the kind of game that wouldn't get away with something like that as easy as tomb raider. Precision isn't as important, and the third person view probably lessens the impact.
Can't play a demo?

Re: Rise of the Mother F'n Tomb Raider.
I really didn't notice the input lag all that much UNTIL I played the PC version. I was told on Twitter a patch was coming to fix the input lag and yet here we are, almost 4 months out from launch and nothing. Even uncharted 3 fixed that shit!Madmya wrote:Yeah Killzone is the kind of game that wouldn't get away with something like that as easy as tomb raider. Mads, you could trade it in for the 360 version. It has no input lag.

Re: Rise of the Mother F'n Tomb Raider.
That's a bit ridiculous!
I still haven't noticed whilst playing, though I haven't explicitly tried to notice it. Funnily enough, the point where it is bleedinglyw obvious is the title screen, there is a lag after pressing the start button!

It's not enough to ruin the game in any way at all. Game is still phenomenal.Madmya wrote:That's a bit ridiculous!

Got this on PC now thanks to Rorschach.
So this might already be the best looking game I've ever seen.
All settings maxed out, 1440p running on DX12 and I'm getting between 54-85fps.

Was a fantastic gaming experience. Still going back to do the optional tombs, probably the best parts of the game. Definitely a great Xbone exclusive but damn if it isn't the sweetest looking game on the PC at the moment, Nixxes did a great port. Hail the Master Race!

Doesn't matter with Gsync. That's a great range for 144p, would be no slow down at all

I did a test - the same settings but with DX11 and I'm looking at 35-50fps. What a performance boost!
Re: Rise of the Mother F'n Tomb Raider.
Damn, have to play some more optional tombs to get the special sauce!
